چکیده

It is of practical significance to study the multi-physical processes solid state nuclear systems for device design, safety analysis, and operation guidance. This system generally includes three processes: neutronics, heat transfer, thermoelasticity. In order analyze field behavior system, it necessary laws neutron flux, temperature, stress, other physical fields in system. Aiming at this scientific goal, paper has carried out aspects work: (1) Based on Galerkin’s finite element theory, governing equations thermoelasticity have been established; (2) a neutronics-thermal-mechanical analysis code was developed verified based benchmark examples third-party software processes; (3) with typical pipe cooled reactor configuration, work, coupling out, such as etc., under steady-state operating conditions were obtained; (4) finally, calculation results are discussed analyzed, focus direction next work clarified.

Evaluation of Fracture Parameters by Coupling the Edge-Based Smoothed Finite Element Method and the Scaled Boundary Finite Element Method

This paper presents a technique to evaluate the fracture parameters by combining the edge based smoothed finite element method (ESFEM) and the scaled boundary finite element method (SBFEM). A semi-analytical solution is sought in the region close to the vicinity of the crack tip using the SBFEM, whilst, the ESFEM is used for the rest of the domain. As both methods satisfy the partition of unity...

A Super - Element Based on Finite Element Method for Latticed Columns Computational Aspect and Numerical Results

This paper presents a new super-element with twelve degrees of freedom for latticed columns. This elements is developed such that it behaves, with an acceptable approximation, in the same manner as a reference model does. The reference model is constructed by using many Solid elements. The cross section area, moments of inertia, shear coefficient and torsoinal rigidity of the developed new elem...

Coupling Nonlinear Element Free Galerkin and Linear Galerkin Finite Volume Solver for 2D Modeling of Local Plasticity in Structural Material

This paper introduces a computational strategy to collaboratively develop the Galerkin Finite Volume Method (GFVM) as one of the most straightforward and efficient explicit numerical methods to solve structural problems encountering material nonlinearity in a small limited area, while the remainder of the domain represents a linear elastic behavior. In this regard, the Element Free Galerkin met...
